ACCOLADES – Yola received a special Commendation of Heroic Action (Life Saving Award) from the Governor of the State of New Jersey, Richard J. Codey for saving a life.

She made headlines by saving another performer's life, while onstage. She performed CPR in front of thousands onlookers. In recognition for this action, Yola received a special Commendation of Heroic Action from the Governor of the State of New Jersey, Richard J. Codey. She was also endorsed by such honorable organization as the American Heart Association.
Inspired by that event she formed the nonprofit organization CPRAwareness.org, established a CPR Awareness Day of NYC and she is producing series of jazz concerts Feel the Beat to promote CPR - life saving measure. In support Yola and her organization received a special proclamation from Mayor of NYC Michael Bloomberg. Yola Nash has been invited to the universities, national conferences and high schools as a Speaker on CPR to teach about the life-saving measure.

Yola Nash carries Master’s Degree in Psychology field and is educated in Fine Arts and Music.
She is often described as a European-American treasure for her art, media, and humanitarian achievements. As an internationally accomplished singer, she successfully debuted on the Top 40 AC radio charts in the USA.
After her successful beginnings in her native Poland during which played many concerts and festivals, winning numerous prestigious nationwide and international vocal contests, she came to NYC and quickly started studying Jazz with Patti LaBelle's /Dee Jackson and respected Jazz Prof. of Manhattan School of Music Nancy Marano.

Shortly after she recorded and produced her debut album “Another Girl” with Grammy-winning producer/engineer Bob Ebeling (Kid Rock, Eminem) and Norah Jones’s engineer Pete DeBoar. Her debut album on Nile Rodger’s Sumthing Label (David Bowie, Madonna, Mariah Carey) and Top Shelf Records was chosen by critics as “Best New Music”. She quickly climbed the radio charts all over the US. During its first week out her music got to #1 place as ”Most Added” to the radio playlists around the country charting Yola’s name next to such stars like: Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, Lenny Kravitz and many more on the Top 40 AC radio charts in the USA.

Second Album “Touched By Love”  GRAMMY® considered
“Touched By Love”, was released August 26th. 2020, an excellent collection of Yola's original songs. It's an intimate acoustic Jazz with European Folk, Pop and Latin flavors.
The album was considered for a Grammy in 2020 season.

Her refreshing, sultry, passionate and poetic vocal style branches out into the realms of Jazz and Pop.
All songs written by Yola and acclaimed composer Octavio Vazquez and an award winning guitarist, composer Graham Keir. Yola also experiments with poetry by featuring a beautiful poem “Dance With Me” written by an award winning Poet, Writer, Poetry Film Dir. Fella Cederbaum. Also featured on the track (Spoken Word).

Her songs derive from the depths of her personal experience and they paint the full spectrum of colors of human emotions. Often intertwined with love as the basis for her powerfully personal songs.
