It’s the Polish-born jazz singer-songwriter’s third studio album, as a leader. And wrote all of the lyrics for eight of the nine songs, the lone song on “Manhattan Whispers” not penned by Yola is “ Truth Tango” a cabaret-like track that she describes as “musical exploration.” It sets a beautiful theatric poem by an award-winning Poet, Writer, Poetry Film Dir.
